Forskningsparken

The LEAT well system was developed at Forskningsparken in 2005 to provide the Science Centre in Oslo with 1,2 MW of energy for heating and cooling. Since then, the system runs successfully with only 6 wells. About 200 wells would be needed if a traditional well system would have been installed at this location. As Forskningsparken has been growing over the last years, a possible extension of the system is currently being assessed.
